About Us
City of Lisburn AC is based in the City of Lisburn, Co. Antrim , Northern Ireland . It exists as a club where people can be introduced to athletics, they can improve their knowledge of and ability in the various athletic disciplines, and can enter various competitions at local and national level. Lisburn AC is also involved in the promotion of Athletics in the greater Lisburn area .
Our membership is drawn from the City of Lisburn and the surrounding areas of Belfast , Dromore , Moira and Banbridge . Both male and female athletes are welcome and all ages are represented from 10 year olds up to several Veteran athletes .
During the winter , training is based at Friends' School Lisburn (Thurdays) and the Mary Peters Track Belfast (Mondays) , while summer training is at the Mary Peters Track (Mondays and Thursdays).
