A very Merry Christmas to all members and friends of CoLAC! We’re all looking forward to the snow and ice receding so that normal training can resume. Fingers crossed that it will be “Business as Usual” at the track by the new year, where training will continue for the athletes tackling some of the remaining cross country fixtures while many others prepare for the indoor championships in February and March.
Athletes please note that entries are now open for the Indoor Champs and they should be discussing with their coaches which events they are considering entering. It is hoped that lots of younger athletes in particular will take the opportunity to compete in the fantastic Odyssey Arena on 19/20 February, while the remaining age-groups and events are in Magherafelt’s excellent indoor facility a couple of weeks later.
Finally, all members please note that lots of help will be required on Saturday 15 January at Moira Demesne where our club will be hosting our annual cross country event. The more pairs of hands the better and Davy Reid and Eric Frizzell will be happy to allocate jobs on the day!
