Orla to carry Olympic Flame

City of Lisburn AC athlete Orla Smyth has today received confirmation that she will have the honour of carrying the Olympic Torch on a leg of its relay journey across the UK before the Games begin on 27 July.
The flame will visit every corner of the UK on its way to the Olympic Stadium with Orla’s leg being in Lisburn on 06 June. As a World Transplant Games multiple gold medallist the inspirational Orla throughly deserves this fantastic honour and everyone in the club will be very excited at this news.
