Alex then took a medal of her own in the 75m with her 3rd place in the A stream, Cara taking 4th in the B stream.

More drama in the hurdles where KateF won the A stream comfortably while Therese suffered a horrible fall in her heat. Once again she was shaken but not badly injured and was able to run the 100m where she finished 2nd in the B stream with AnnaA taking bronze in the A stream. Over 200m Jess was the gold medal winner in the A race with CaraB taking silver in her heat. Cousins Sophie and SarahH combined in the 300m for 4th and 2nd in their respective heats.

SarahF ran well in the 800m for a 4th place finish. In the 1500m we had Jodie and SarahW in what was definitely unfamiliar territory for both girls. They clearly enjoyed themselves on the way to their PB times for 2nd and 1st in their respective streams! I hear their coaches were so impressed that they are planning a lot of distance training for them over the winter!
The relay teams of Kate, AnnaA, Cara and Phoebe in the 4x100m and Therese, Sophie, SarahH and Jess in the 4x300m finished off the day with bronze and gold respectively to see our ladies topping their age group on points.
