Fame for Lisburn trio as USD hits the screens!

This Saturday morning at 9am on the CBBC channel is the much awaited screening of BBC’s new show, Ultimate Sports Day. The series features four young athletes from each of N. Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales as they battle it out in a series of sporting challenges.
The Northern Ireland team includes three of City of Lisburn’s young stars from the Young Athletes League squad – Phoebe Tan, Thomas Quinn and Andrew Hutchinson – all medallists from the UK Finals in Birmingham last year.
The first episode will also feature footage from the “boot camp” through which the final teams for each country were selected. Look carefully and you may spot several more Lisburn athletes…!
