Declan in Strangford 10k / Lyn at Stormont XC

Declan Morgan returned to the shores of Strangford Lough yesterday for the Ben Dearg 10k. Declan was 6th in this race last year and repeated that position this year, although his 40:34 was slightly slower than his 2011 time. However this was still a useful early season work-out for Declan.
Meanwhile in the grounds of Stormont Estate Lyn Lyness was 11th lady from a large field at the annual NI Civil Service cross country event. Lyn recorded at time of 22:48 for the two lap course measuring approximately 5.4k.
