Diane at Larne / Declan in Castlewellan

Last weekend Declan Morgan and Diane Watson were both racing at Jimmy’s Ten in Downpatrick. This weekend they were both racing again, but in different parts of the province.
Declan headed for Castlewellan to take part in the Castlewellan Spring Lake 10km. His time of 41:50 left him in 18th position from over 150 athletes in what was reportedly a tough event with the heat plus some tough hills in the last 3k.
Diane is in great form just now as shown by her 1:37.38 clocking (1:37.30 chip) at the Larne Half-Marathon. From a field of some 1400 entrants this placed her an excellent 9th F35 and 16th lady overall.
