Jane wins in Warrington

Jane Anderson is one of the City of Lisburn AC U17 athletes who have been selected to represent N. Ireland at the UK School Games in the Olympic Stadium in May. Seeking an early-season “sharpener” she travelled to the North West of England on Sunday to compete in the Warrington AC open meet in their Victoria Park stadium.

It was worth the trip for Jane who had a good win in the 80m hurdles against some useful English competition, recording a hand-timed 12.3s into a strong headwind.
