Edwards & Co. Meet 1 plus N. Down AC Open Meet

The 2012 outdoor track season has arrived! Next Thursday 12 April sees the first of the Lagan Valley AC / Edwards & Co. meets, which will be the final meet at the MPT before it closes for its major overhaul.
These meets have tradtionally been well utilised by City of Lisburn athletes looking for a chance to blow the winter cobwebs away and next Thursday should be no different. Registration is from 6.30pm at the track with as usual a sprint / endurance / jump and throw event available in most age-groups from Under 11 upwards. The schedule of events for Meet 1 is here:-

The following week on Tuesday 17 April, North Down AC will host an Open Meet at the Bangor Sportsplex, with younger athletes able to throw their own weights of implements. North Down AC usually provide the opportunity for six throws per event which will make this one appealing to the Lisburn throws squad. More details of the full range of events here:-
