PBs for Diane and Andrew at Newry City Half

Andrew and Diane Watson were both in action at the Newry City Half Marathon on Sunday morning, with both producing excellent performances. Weather conditions were cool which was perfect for our endurance athletes and both of the pair recorded PBs.
Diane’s finishing time was 1.36.02, which was 1 min 30 quicker than her previous best from Larne in March. This placed her 9th female overall. Andrew recorded 1.39.10, which was a PB in his first Half in over 18 months.
Well done to both for flying the flag for City of Lisburn AC at the event and on their fine runs.
