Trio of Lisburn ladies at Watford BMC meet

Three City of Lisburn AC athletes made the trip over to Watford for the British Milers Club meet yesterday. Erin McIlveen had the best run of her 2012 outdoor season in the 800 m “D” race. Her time of 2:12.75 placed her 5th.
Ciara Mageean and Kelly Neely both went in the 1500 “A” race. Ciara was 4th in 4:13.30 which was only marginally slower than her recent run in Morocco, while Kelly was 5th in 4:13.64. Both girls took the scalp of Commonwealth bronze medallist Steph Twell who was 6th.
