NI track titles for Ben and Bradley at Shercock

Next weekend will see a large number of City of Lisburn athletes in action at Antrim in the N.Ireland and Ulster age-group championships for the U14 to U17’s. Yesterday a small squad of younger Lisburn athletes made the trip to Shercock, Co. Cavan for the NI and Ulster championships for Under 13’s and younger.
In the Year 2000 age-group promising all-rounder Bradley Mulholland had a fantastic win in the 80m sprint and was also 2nd in the high jump while Sean Terek placed 3rd in the 600m.
For athletes born in 2001, Erin Fisher was competing and while she had a few problems with her run-up at the long jump she picked up a 6th place at high jump.
In the 2002 age-group Ben Gibson, who has stood out at the Edwards and Co meets recently, won the 60m in an excellent 8.94s.
Congratulations to all, especially Ben and Bradley on their gold medals and NI and Ulster titles!
