Paula 2nd at Queens parkrun

Paula Neill has obviously made a good recovery from the Lisburn 10k on Wednesday, as she had a super run at the Queens parkrun today. Her 22:45 PB knocked 18 seconds off her previous best here and left her as 2nd lady overall and 1st F45.
Matthew Neill wasn’t too far behind his mum, running an excellent 23:26 on his debut here to finish first U14. It was great to see Eric Frizzell fit enough again for a parkrun appearance, with his 23:29 placing him as top M60. Finally Cara Gourley was another Lisburn debutante, and she can also claim an F15-19 age-category win with her 31:11. This made it a clean sweep of age-category wins for the City of Lisburn quartet!
The recent very wet weather was perhaps a factor in the very low turn out of just 34 runners at Queens this morning.
