Mel wins at Queens parkrun!

Mel Minshull has had a memorable year so far with good performances ranging from 3000m on the track up to the London Marathon. After scoring some vital points in last week’s Team Trophy win for the CoLAC Senior Ladies, she had a win this morning on her parkrun debut.
Her time of 22:36 on the undulating course made her another City of Lisburn winner at Queens and she is now looking forward to sampling the atmosphere at some more local parkruns.
Alison Gibson was 3rd lady overall and 1st F50 with her 24:09 which was only 7 seconds behind her best at Queens. 30 athletes were in action at this event today.
