Declan tackles two races in one weekend…

Declan Morgan is a glutton for punishment as we all know, proving it yet again by tackling two tough races in the space of 24 hours at the weekend.
First up was the Tollymore Trail Race on Saturday morning. Billed as a 12km event, the course was in fact 8.3 miles (over 13 km)! The brutal event took runners around the perimeter of the forest park, obviously featuring lots of lovely hills! Declan was a very respectable 34th out of 102 athletes in 63:57.
As if that wasn’t enough, on Sunday morning he decided to tackle another local race – the Saval 10k in which he was 11th out of 72 in 43:09.
