Christian & Roseanna medal at SIAB International

Christian Robinson picked the perfect occasion to produce his first 13 metre triple jump, with a 13.15m effort at the Schools International at Ashford, Kent yesterday. This excellent jump gave him the bronze medal in the four nation, “two up” competition.
Roseanna McGuckian was possibly the youngest member of the team having just turned 15 a few days ago. However she sprinted very well, finishing 4th in 200m in 25.40s and 5th in the 100m in 12.46s (times unofficial).
However she also came home with a medal after a strong 2nd leg in the 4x100m relay. Receiving the baton from City of Derry’s Ciara Armstrong, she flew down the back straight to help Ireland to silver in 47.68s.
