Well done to Erin McIlveen who set an 800m PB at the British Milers Club meet at Solihull, Birmingham on 21 July. Erin, who is coached by Brian Whittle, finally broke the 2:10 barrier with 2:09.66 while placing 4th in the C race.

Meanwhile Kelly Neely had another good outing over 800m at the Morton International Games at Santry, Dublin on 25 July. She ran a time of 2:07.25 to finish behind England’s Jemma Simpson (2:03.06) and Carolyn Plateau (2:05.70).

Well done to Erin and Kelly, who have both been key members of the successful CoLAC senior women’s track team this season.
