Declan and Alison at at Vic Park parkrun

Over at Victoria Park Declan Morgan was running on his 35th birthday and celebrated becoming a veteran with a time of 19:32 for 12th place overall. This was his 2nd run in 48 hours after a 38:55 performance in the Darragh Cross 6 mile on Thursday night.

Alison Gibson was 6th lady overall but the F50 age-category winner in 23:37. A healthy field of 152 runners turned out this week. The previous week at the same venue Orla Smyth ran a good 22:43 (compared to her 22:32 course best) to place 4th lady from a total field of 130.
