Diane and Trevor in top form at Vic Park

Well done to Diane Watson who was in great form at the Victoria Park parkrun on Saturday morning. She has produced many good performances this year over 10k and half-marathon but dropped down to 5k here, recording a fine 20:50. This placed her as 2nd female.
Trevor Carruthers also ran very well, lowering his PB here to 22:06. This left him 30th overall but 3rd M45. 144 runners made up the field this week.
Meanwhile at Queens Callum Shaw made his debut at this course, running a good 19:19 to finish 4th overall and first Junior Male. Declan Morgan was next home in 5th position in 19:44, which was within 8 seconds of his course best. This left him 2nd M35. There were 59 runners at the Queens event this week.
