PB and a win for Mel at Decathlon 10k

Well done to the three City of Lisburn athletes who raced at yesterday morning’s Decathlon Sports 10k and Half Marathon races. All our athletes went in the 10k where there were 145 finishers, with runners enjoying good conditions.
Peter Donnelly was 10th overall and 2nd M40 in 38:52. Mel Minshull produced a PB performance of 45:36 to finish as 5th lady, winning her F45 category. Alison Gibson also ran well, dipping under 50 minutes with 49:46 which left her as 12th lady overall and 2nd F50.
