Rebecca Douglas ranked 4th in the UK

Last weekend at the Scottish Championships in Emirates stadium Glasgow, Rebecca Douglas finished third in a new PB of 2.21.34 in a fantastic race, she had previously run a heat 2m26, which made the PB even more fabulous. Coach Andrea stated that she wasn’t aware of anyone in her age group in Northern Ireland at the moment could run 2.26 in one race never mind running 2.21 in final Rebecca is still only 13 and had to run in the under 16 age grouping. Rebecca is now ranked fourth in the UK Power of 10.
Sophie Higginson didn’t fair so well, she finished third in her heat and didn’t qualify for final, she was hit by illness all week and had a very bad chest infection.
