Schools and Age Groups Update

Update from Jonny. Ulster Scools:
“Well done to Matthew Dalton who returned home from the recent Irish Schools with a gold and a silver which he won in the Junior Boys age-group. He was 1st in the high jump with 1.71m before placing 2nd in the 80m hurdles in a PB of 11.56s. Promising all-rounder Matthew is currently ranked 3rd and 4th respectively in the UK at U15 level in these events.”
NI and Ulster Age Groups:8th June
“Well done to Alix Galbraith who displayed her all-round talents at the NI & Ulster age-group championships at Antrim on 08 June. In glorious sunshine, Alix had a day to remember, winning each of her three events to become the only triple-gold medallist of the day.She won the U15 80m hurdles in 13.34s before adding high jump gold in 1.55m and taking the shot title with 9.88m.”
