Coca-Cola Lisburn 10k 16 June

There were great runs at the sharp end of the ladies’ field from a couple of City of Lisburn athletes at the Lisburn 10k on Wednesday night which saw over 1600 finishers. Conditions were very warm and humid but were no barrier to excellent performances from Judith Lowry who was 2nd lady in 38:04 and Heather Martin who with 40:54 was 5th lady overall from the the huge field.
Further back other CoL performances included Sean McGurnaghan who clocked 43:27 and Trevor Carruthers 45:26, with Alison Gibson 49:29 and Jonny McWhinney 49:39 squeezing under 50 minutes.
