City of Lisburn had many medallists at the Edwards and Co / Lagan Valley meet on Thursday past.
In the youngest age-group there was bronze for Grace Hillman in the 150m and an excellent performance from Olivia Savage in the long jump for the silver.
In the 97-98 age-group, Ben Fisher took gold in the 200m with Jessica McMaster and Caitlin Rose claiming silver and bronze respectively in the long jump. Lauren Rea backed up her discus win in the recent Young Athletes’s League match with a PB for silver while Bronagh McCann took bronze. There was also a PB for Jodie Savage in the same competition. Well done to Matthew Neill with 3rd place in the long jump.
Anna McIlmoyle was the only CoL athlete competing in the 95-96 age-group and she claimed a gold in the high jump.
In the 93-94 age-group there was a triple jump double victory from Adam Hill and Libby Rose, with Libby also claiming silver in the discus.
Congratulations both to the medallists and the many other athletes in the silver vests claiming PBs on the night.
