Alison first lady at Vic Park parkrun

There were a couple of notable runs by City of Lisburn athletes at the Victoria Park 5k parkrun this morning. Cold conditions and a touch of frost kept the numbers of runners and their times slightly lower than normal but Andrew Watson improved yet again to a new PB of 22:47 to place him 16th overall from the field of 45 (and 3rd M35-39).
Meanwhile Alison Gibson’s 24:07 didn’t threaten her own PB here of 23:22 but it was the best female performance of the morning – both in her age-group and overall! Well done to both athletes on their runs.
