Well done to Brendan Murphy who represented City of Lisburn AC at the Stormont Magic Mile on Friday past. This was another event making a re-appearance on the calendar after a gap of several years and was promoted by Civil Service AC. The super-fast course sees athletes race from Parliament Buildings down the Prince of Wales Avenue and features a a downhill section in the first half of the race followed by a flat run-in to the finish.
Brendan was 3rd on Friday with a time of just inside 4:30 (unofficial). The course record is held by Davy Wilson of Annadale Striders with 3:47!
