Heather 11th lady in Bangor 10k

Heather McLarnon’s 43:01 run was the pick of the Lisburn performances in the Bangor 10k yesterday, which one again lived up to its billing as one of the biggest and most popular road races on the local calendar. Conditions were perfect for the very large field who completed the out-and-back course which took them through Groomsport via the Ballyholme Esplanade.
Heather’s time placed her 11th female overall and 6th in the Female Open category. Her brother Michael’s time of 41:14 placed him 73rd overall (68th male) while Andrew Watson was 170th overall with his 46:32 time placing him as 23rd M35.
