Waterside Half Marathon

The big event last weekend was the Waterside Half Marathon up in a very windy Londonderry where the quality of the fields were very high due to its N. Ireland championship status. Heather Ardis is in the shape of her life just now as following her PB run in the Laganside 10k the previous week, she produced a second PB run here with a fantastic time of 89:34 for 9th Female. This was not only her first run under 90 minutes but some five minutes faster than her run here last year and suggests she could go even faster in better conditions.
