Amy re-writes the record books in China

Once again City of Lisburn’s Amy Foster has lowered the NI Senior 200m record after a blistering run of 23.53s in the second round at the World University Games in China. Her excellent form saw her qualify for her first global final where she ran her joint secocnd fastest ever time of 23.58s for 7th.
This was a brilliant series of races by Amy, with her performances here showing that Olympic selection is now a very realistic ambition for next year. Congratulations to Amy on her new record figures!
