Amy at World Student Games

Everyone in the club is delighted for Amy Foster who has given an excellent account of herself on the global stage at the World University Games in China. Amy ran the 8th fastest time in the semi finals today but just missed out on a coveted place in the final under the criteria of first four to qualify from each semi. Her time of 11.61s was her third good race here after strong runs in the first two rounds. Hopefully she has plenty left in the tank as she starts the rounds of the 200m tomorrow.
