Andrew Hutchinson continued his excellent season with two All-Ireland medals today at the Juvenile age-group champs at Tullamore. He began with a silver in the U16 100m hurdles in a PB of 14.23s before adding high jump bronze with a 1.71m clearance.

Ben Fisher had arguably the best achievement of his career so far with All-Ireland silver in the U14 long jump with 4.77m and he also took 5th in the sprint hurdles. The silvers continued with a 2nd place for Jane Anderson in the U15 80m Hurdles after a fine 12.21s run and she also finished 8th in the high jump.

There was U15 bronze for Roseanna McGuckian after her 5.16m long jump and she was 4th in the 100m with 12.83s.  Anna McIlmoyle added another All-Ireland medal to her collection with a bronze here in the U16 high jump for her 1.55m clearance and she was also 6th in the sprint hurdles.

Finally,  in the U15 hammer there was a big PB for Natalja Ritchie who was 4th in 26.93s with Aoife Doherty’s 8th place in 22.56m a good result in her first season in the sport.

Well done to the athletes on their 6 medals gained today and good luck to those still to compete.
