Good luck to all Under 17/16/15/14 athletes competing in the NI and Ulster age-group championships at Antrim this weekend. Remember that anyone finishing in the top 4 in their event will qualify for the All-Irelands in Tullamore in July. Entries for events on the 09/10 July must be submitted at Antrim this weekend. Timetable for the two days are as follows. If you are unsure which day you are competing please speak to one of the Junior Team Managers.
The new club vests were on show for the first time at the MPT last night where business was brisk at the club shop (ie the boot of Andrea’s car). Joanne and Andrea wouldn’t have looked out of place at St Georges Market with their “Buy one, get one half price” patter. Please see Andrea or Joanne if you wish to buy any of the new club strip and watch out for them appearing on the next series of “The Apprentice.”
New club vests £15 each or £22.50 for two!!
On the track in YAL Round 3 the new vests inspired another strong all-round Lisburn performance with Rebekah Douglas in the U13 800m and the Girls U15 4x100m relay team both narowly missing out on Young Athletes League records. Full report to follow shortly, although some photos are now available.
