Schools Silver for Kathryn

Congratulations to Kathryn Wallace who produced her best-ever series of throws to clinch the silver medal in the Ulster Schools hammer at Antrim this afternoon. She opened with a 32.65m PB and consolidated with two more throws beyond the 32m mark in the Inter Girls competition. She will now look to improve further upon that at the Irish Schools championships in two weeks time.
Well done Kathyrn on what was surely the first of many schools medals by Lisburn athletes this weekend. Good luck both to Kathryn as she seeks another medal in the shot tomorrow as well as all the other Lisburn athletes competing in their school colours.
