Ben Dearg 10k Strangford

City of Lisburn’s Declan Morgan and Orla Smyth made the trip to Strangford, Co Down on Sunday for the Ben Dearg 10k run. The route took in a pleasant path along the shores of the Strangford Lough.
Both did well in their respective categories, with Declan placing 6th overall (5th Male Open) in 39:06 and Orla 5th lady (3rd Female Open) in 43:44. This outing meant Lisburn was represented at three separate race events over the weekend, including the Civil Service XC and the Parkrun.
