Great Parkrun debuts by the Gibson girls!

Rachel Gibson and mum Alison became the lastest City of Lisburn athletes to record Parkrun performances at the Waterworks 5K where there was another big turnout of 169 runners this morning.
A week after her exploits in the Odyssey, Rachel was 2nd lady overall today and 1st in the Senior Women age-category with her run of 20:20 which puts her straight to the top of the club’s Parkrun ladies’ ranking lists. Meanwhile Alison was an excellent 6th overall out of 50 female runners in a fast 23:23. This meant it was a double age-category win by the pair as Alison was 1st F45-49!
