Lisburn successes at Rising Stars Competition

Saturday afternoon saw a small squad of City of Lisburn athletes travel to Cookstown for the Athletics NI Rising Stars regional competition. Athletes competed in a range of speed, endurance, jumping and throwing events. The Lisburn gang including Katie Larmour, Caitlin Rose, Jessica Robinson, Annie Alexander and Kadhum Hassan all contributed well to the success of the Belfast squad who finished as Top Team of the 4 regional squads represented.
Katie in fact brought the trophy home on behalf of the Belfast squad while Kadhum was awarded the overall best male athlete award!
