Belfast Telegraph award for Ciara

Based on Ciara Mageean’s sensational 2010 there could only have been one winner of the Belfast Telegraph “Young Player of the Year” award at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Befast last night. This recognises her as the outstanding junior sportsperson – across all sports – in Northern Ireland last year.
Ciara’s heroics including a Commonwealth final appearance and World Junior silver are already well documented and the panel surely did not have to deliberate for long before handing Ciara her latest award. Well done Ciara!
